Directions from Jefferson City, Missouri, to the Kansas City Subdistrict Office

1. Take Highway 50 to Lee's Summit exit, turn right on Chipman Road.
2. Go east on Chipman Road to Main Street and turn left (north).
3. Take Main Street to Capital Drive and turn right.
4. Take Capital Drive to the USGS office approximately 100 yards on the right side of the street.

Directions from the Kansas City International Airport to Kansas City Subdistrict Office

1. Take the I-435 Beltway east and then south to eastbound I-470.
2. Take I-470 to the Douglas Street exit in Lee's Summit.
3. Go south on Douglas Street to Victoria Drive (3rd stop light) and turn right (west).
4. Take Victoria Drive to Capital Drive and turn right (north) and follow it around the curve to the USGS office on the left side of the street.
5. Total travel time approximately 50 minutes.

Directions from Downtown Kansas City to the Kansas City Subdistrict Office

1. Take I-70 east to I-435 south to I-470.
2. Take I-470 to the Douglas Street exit in Lee's Summit.
3. Go south on Douglas Street to Victoria Drive (3rd stop light) and turn right (west).
4. Take Victoria Drive to Capital Drive and turn right (north) and follow it around the curve to the USGS office on the left side of the street.
5. Total travel time approximately 50 minutes.

Directions from the District Office, Rolla, Missouri, to the Kansas City Subdistrict Office

1. Turn left on Independence Road to Tenth Street (approximately 0.3 mile).
2. Turn right Tenth approximately 1.8 mile to Highway 63.
3. Right on Highway 63 North to I-70 West at Columbia, Missouri.
4. Continue on I-70 West to I-470 South to the Colbern Road exit.
5. Turn right on Colbern Road and go approximately 2 miles to Main Street. (This turn is easy to miss, look for the street sign on the left. Turn left (south).
6. Take Main and go under the interstate and across the railroad tracks make a left turn onto Capital Drive.
7. The office is about 100 yards on the right side of Capital Drive.
